We are a house church in Columbia Missouri and gather together as the church on Sundays in one another’s homes (also called “home church”.)
Our desire is to follow the pattern of the New Testament church as given in Scripture, encouraging and building up one another in Christ, Who is the head of the body, His Church (Acts 2:42; Hebrews 10:23-25; Ephesians 4:11-16.)

“They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” Acts 2:42
“. . . I write so that you will know how one ought to conduct himself in the household of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and support of the truth.” 1 Timothy 3:15
“Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful; and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together . . . but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near.“ Hebrews 10:23-25
“. . . speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Christ, from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love.” Ephesians 4:15-16
There are four key hallmarks that distinguish the one church designed by Christ and the many designed by men.
Recognize and act upon these key features to make a difference in the body of Christ today.
